Being a long-time fan of Godflesh, then recently discovering this album and the various instances where the band seemingly channeled Godflesh and made things even slower and oppressively heavy, I regret not discovering Below The Sun (and funeral doom) long ago. This album scratches an itch I didn't know I had, and it's become an immediate favorite. My condolences to the band on the untimely loss of their leader.
